Short Bio

Yao Wang obtained his Bachelor's degree in Underwater Acoustic Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2019. His undergraduate thesis focused on the design of low-frequency transducers for thickness measurement.
Driven by a growing interest in wireless communication, he pursued his MSc in Wireless Communication Systems at the University of Sheffield and graduated with Distinction in 2024.
His master's research explored novel 6G modulation schemes, particularly the comparison between OFDM and OTFS systems.
Currently, he is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Researcher at Ranplan Wireless in Stockholm, Sweden, as part of the Horizon Europe INTEGRATE project.
