Short Bio

Aysegul Ilay Tunali received her M.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. She is currently a Marie Curie Fellow with Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni (CNIT). She has been a system and design engineer in Aselsan A.S., Turkey since 2017. She has worked with LTE and 5G-NR base stations, mainly in physical layer channel estimation, medium access control scheduling algorithms and self organizing network mobility and load optimizations. Her research interests include 6G wireless communications, refractive metasurfaces, and machine learning.
